Beth Procsal, Senior Biologist & Ornithologist

Beth Procsal is a Senior Biologist and Ornithologist. Beth has over 20 years of experience in both general and species-specific bird surveys. She manages and conducts general biological and wetland assessments and constraints analyses, habitat revegetation/mitigation implementation and monitoring, and biological monitoring on large-scale projects. Beth has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from SDSU and holds a California Department of Fish and Wildlife Scientific Collecting Permit and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Permit for coastal California gnatcatcher and Quino checkerspot butterfly, and nest monitoring for least Bell's vireo. Prior to joining RECON, she worked at the San Diego Zoo with the California and Andean condors. When asked what the best part of working at RECON is Beth said β€œThe people I work with; we have such a great group of people.” Beth, thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm!
